Introduction:

Dr. Ryan Chou was born in South Tainan, Taiwan 1979. He moved to New Zealand at the age of 13 with his family, where he finished his schooling at Howick Public High School and received a scholarship. Dr. Chou then studied at the University of Auckland and graduated with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and specialized in Cardiovascular Disease. After graduating from university, Dr Chou worked for the government as a Lab Technician but in time, lost interest in his work and realized that it was not what he wanted. He soon became very interested in Dentistry and decided to pursue it as a career. He moved to Brisbane, Australia to study Dental Science at the University of Queensland. Dr. Chou gained a lot of his experience through several internships working in the Dental Department of Queensland Public Hospital, Nambour Hospital and Logan Hospital.

Dentistry to Dr. Ryan Chou is now his passion and has been the most rewarding career as is gives him the opportunity to meet different people and make his patients happy.

Education:

Howick Public High School - earned a scholarship and received High Distinction awards for chemistry and math and was also involved in the Senior Basketball Team

Hobbies:

Watching TV, reading and playing basketball.
