Dr. Samson Chan
Introduction: Dr Chan was born in China; one of the greatest, most civilized ancient nations of the world, which embraces traditional values. These values are honesty, kindness, loyalty, righteousness, sincerity, unselfishness and respect to others. These values were nurtured within him as he was growing up and are complimentary to the high moral standards which he upholds. Dr. Chan moved to Hong Kong after his first birthday. He attended 'Pui Ching" Middle School during primary school to Year Eight. Pui Ching emphasizes values of righteousness and kindness and is renowned for shaping dedicated, hard working students who have subsequently gone on to be the most creative and prominent leaders of the world.

Dr. Supra Chan
Introduction: Dr Supra Chan was born in Taipei City and his family immigrated to Auckland in 1990. He completed his dentistry degree in Otago Dental Faculty in 1999. He has served in over 8 clinics in the past with a great spectrum of dental knowledge and experiences. Supra is well known for his ardency, devotion and fervency towards dentistry. For many years, Supra has been setting the pace for quality service in dentistry. His forward-looking assiduous spirit has never ceased to work with the best trained assistants and top grade technicians, delivering every task a truly contemporary touch.
Dr. Richard Chen
Introduction: Richard Chen was I was born in 1961, Guangzhou, a famous southern port city of China. Dr. Chen’s parents were only to be deprived of a proper primary school education in the tumultuous years of the "Cultural Revolution" convinced that their children must get proper education. So his parents braved a new world and immigrated to Sydney in 1973. Dr. Chen was privileged to study at Crows Nest Boys High and later at an exclusive private school, Barker College at Hornsby. After completion of the HSC, Dr. Chen decided to take on the challenges of dentistry at Sydney University.
Dr. Debbie Chi
Introduction: Dr Debbie Chi was born in Taipei City. She completed her dentistry degree at The University of Otago in New Zealand in 2006. After graduation, she worked as a dentist on the South Coast (NSW) for three years. Dr Debbie Chi joined The Gentle Dentist in 2009.
Dr. Ryan Chou
Introduction: Dr. Ryan Chou was born in South Tainan, Taiwan 1979. He moved to New Zealand at the age of 13 with his family, where he finished his schooling at Howick Public High School and received a scholarship. Dr. Chou then studied at the University of Auckland and graduated with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and specialized in Cardiovascular Disease. After graduating from university, Dr Chou worked for the government as a Lab Technician but in time, lost interest in his work and realized that it was not what he wanted. He soon became very interested in Dentistry and decided to pursue it as a career. He moved to Brisbane, Australia to study Dental Science at the University of Queensland. Dr. Chou gained a lot of his experience through several internships working in the Dental Department of Queensland Public Hospital, Nambour Hospital and Logan Hospital.
Dr. John Han
Introduction: Dr. Han was born in China (Guang Dong Province). Both his grandfather and great grandfather were both dentists and his family was the first to establish a private Dental Surgery in Guan Dong, China. Because of his family's history in dentistry, his own interest in the field grew and he too studied dentistry after high school. Societies: Member of the Australian Dental Association..
Dr Micheal Huang
Dr Michael Huang immigrated to Sydney at age 13 and attended school in Eastern suburb before completing his Bachelor of Medical Science degree with 1st class Honors at University of New South Wale. Michael was active in personal training during his undergraduate study. He developed a desire to work closely with people and pursued to study dentistry at the University of Sydney as a career, which allows him to be challenged academically and fulfil his desire to help. Dr Huang appreciates the importance of being relatable and personable while providing a comprehensive service that aims to understand and treats the patient’s need and desire through educating them the importance of oral health.
Dr. Helen Lee
Introduction: Dr Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Dentistry at University of Sydney, having previously completed a Bachelor of Medical Science with an Honours degree. Dr Lee is renowned for her thorough but delicate work in all facets of dentistry.
Dr. Simon Lee Dr Lee was born in Sydney, Australia. From a young age he was taught the importance of a close supportive family environment, strong work ethic and giving back to the community. He grew up in the Mascot/ Rosebery area where he was school captain at his local Catholic primary school and has served the Church there ever since he was eight years old. Up to this day he is still serving the community of St Therese’s Church Mascot. Dr Lee was fortunate to be educated at one of the most exclusive high schools in Australia –Sydney Grammar School. It was during his high school years that the importance of a strong work ethic, education and respect was developed and reinforced. While in high school he continued to serve his local community at the Church and also worked as a volunteer serving meals and cleaning tables at the Mathew Talbot Hostel for homeless men in Woolloomooloo.
Dr. Jennifer Li
Introduction: Dr. Jennifer Li was born in China. As a child, Jennifer often suffered from illness and her experiences instilled in her a desire to become a health professional in order to help others.
Dr. Eric Liu
Introduction: Dr Liu has been practicing dentistry for 16 years since he graduated from the Fourth Military Medical University Bei Jing. He served the military for 7 years that enable him to become a well-trained and efficient dentist. To able to broaden his view in dentistry, Dr Liu migrated to New Zealand in 1996, he spend 3 years study to pass the Dental Board Registration exam, which include 3 parts, English, theory and practical. With his strenuous effort, Dr Liu obtained his Dentistry Certificate in 1999. Then, he worked in few private clinics in Auckland, which gave him a different perspective with his experience in China.
Dr. Victor Tsang
Introduction: Dr. Victor Tsang graduated with Distinction average in Orthodontics at Sydney University in 1983. After graduation he has been working worked for an Orthodontist as part-time assistant Dentist before opening he opened his own practice in 1985. Dr. Tsang continues his interest education in Orthodontics by attending many courses both in Australia and overseas. This included including the a 2 years long Orthodontic course by the Continuing Education in Dentistry of Sydney University and Straight Wire Courses by Dr. W. Pfitzinger, Prof. R Nanda, Prof. W Alexander, Dr. J Bennett and Dr. R McLaughlin in Amercia, etc. Today he lectures both in Australia and overseas. His unique teaching lecturing style was developed by his experience in teaching and training with the Australian Army Reserve since 1989. Throughout his years of teaching dentists in Sydney and in Hong Kong in the Straight Wire Technique for for the Comprehensive Orthodontic Courses, he has demonstrated his ability to empower others with not only just the theoretical knowledge but also the practical everyday
Dr. Terrence Wong
Introduction: Dr. Terence Wong was born in Hong Kong, where he studied a nursing Diploma. Dr. Wong wished to work in an industry where he could help people. In a special opportunity, he was given a chance to study at the Queensland University of Technology as an exchange student. During his time in Brisbane, he found that his real interest was in dentistry; therefore he made the decision to study Dental Science in Australia. Dr. Wong successfully obtained an offer for a Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland. After graduation, Dr. Wong worked in a private practice in Ascot and Sunnybank, Queensland. Terence’s motto is: “No matter where you come from, I will provide the best treatment to you “.
Dr. Jade Yin
Introduction: Dr. Yin was born in China and graduated from the China Medical University in Dentistry. she has been committed to delivering a high level of dental services and exhibiting a strong work ethic. Dr. Yin has a reputation for being gentle and careful when treating patients.
Dr. Sarah Won Introduction: Dr. Sarah Won was born in Seoul, Korea. She moved to New Zealand when she was 17 years old and has completed Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at The University of Otago in New Zealand. After graduation, she moved to Australia and worked at the public hospital in Rockhampton, Queensland as a dentist. Dr Won then came to Sydney and joined the Gentle Dentist in 2011.
Dr. Mohammed Solaman Dr. Solaman has graduated from the University of Baghdad. Being grown up in a family of a Doctor, a Surgeon and a Dentist he soon became interested in Dentistry after high school. He then immigrated to New Zealand in 2001 in pursuit of further education and experience. Dr Solaman has completed many advance courses in The University of Otago /New Zealand and has been working in Auckland and Lower Hutt region for over 4 years.
Dr. Ji Taeg Kim
Dr. Ji Kim was born in Seoul and went to U.S.A. for his education and achieved B.A. at University of California, Berkeley, U.S.A., and studied biology at Seoul National University, S. Korea, and completed his dentistry degree at University of Sydney. He has been devoted to improve oral health in local communities in Australia: He loves to meet people and share his excellence in dental knowledge with them, caring his patients’ welling-being and delivering his best quality of service to them. His best interests are: Orthodontics, Dental implants, Oral surgery, Aesthetic dentistry and other general dentistry.
Dr Jun Zhang
Dr. Jun Zhang was born in China and graduated from West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University and Tongji Medical University. With over ten year’s clinical experience, she has developed her keen interest and knowledge in Reconstruction dentistry including implant, Endodontic treatment, Orthodontic treatment and Oral surgery. She developed the painless technique especially wisdom tooth extraction. Her strong work ethic and open mind have helped her to foster excellent relationships with patients and colleagues. With both Chinese and Australian education background and local working experience, she has good understanding of the differences between Asian and Western patients. She is a hard working person, and a sensitive dentist. She treats all of patients respectfully, with the delightful, gentle and pleasant manner that comes from enjoying her chosen career.
